In 1995 a CD is launched named “TROPICÁLIA 2” by the Brazilian singers Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Track 7 of the album entitled “As coisas” (with music and lyrics by Arnaldo Antunes and interpreted by Gilberto Gil) says:

The objects have:

Weight, mass, volume,
Size, time, shape, colour,
Posture, texture, durability, density, odor, worth,
Consistence, depth, contour,
Temperature, performance,
Appearance, price, fate, age, sense...

The objects have no peace!

This sweet-sounding of words contain such a distinctive physical and emotional behavior, showing us the invisible and intangible matters of “OBJECTS”. Their nature.

“PEACE TO OBJECTS!” is an installation that appeals to an alternative and innovative way of appreciating “objects versus products”. Our proposal is a new era of consumption of goods where each “object” has that particular “something” that differentiates each of us from the others.
