Niki's new Characters 2006
International Art Classes at MAM (Museu de Arte de Macau)
Niki’s new characters is an art workshop integrated at Niki De Saint Phalle art exhibition that will take place at Macau Art Museum.
This workshop is dedicated to all those who desire to have some deeper knowledge and experience in art fields and intends to approach students with the imaginary and art processes of Niki De Saint Phalle.
On this workshop we would like to introduce the students to some ideas related with the creative work:
- A piece of art is not necessary a finished piece, its most of all one open process;
- In that process we have to be able to deconstruct to construct something new.
Based on this ideas we would like to invite students to experience all the moments of creation not only expecting to achieve the final piece but to feel all the creative process and question themselves where could be the final moment, in a constant role and speak between feelings, emotions and reason.
